Keep Bedding Easy to Find at Camp
Pack sleeping items in an identifiable bag or container. You should be able to take them straight to the tent once it is pitched.
Start with the practical details
Separate clean bedding from cookware, dirty footwear and damp outer layers. Group the pieces by sleeper when several people share a shelter.
Make the plan flexible
Set up the sleeping area while there is still enough light to see what you are doing. Place personal items where they can be found without rummaging.
Try this on your next trip
Before packing up, check beneath bedding and along tent edges for small objects. Return each set to the same bag for the drive home.
